Fitting a Sub

I've got a 2000 Regular Cab Stepside GMC. I already have a Sony headunit (soon to be replaced with a much nicer Alpine) and some Alpine front componenets, and Boston Acoustics in the rear pillars. There's not much room in the cab, I don't know where I could fit a single 10 or 12 sub without getting in the way of something... I was thinking under the seat, but that might get uncomfortable after a while. There's no room behind the seat, I don't have any subs in there now - and though I have a bit of bass from the Alpine fronts there just isn't any clean punch (especially with a crappy Sony driving em). Any ideas? Past experiences?

How much bass do you want?  If you just want it to fill in, one or two good 8 inch subs would work (ie JL Audio 8w6).  But it it possible to fit a 10 or 12 behind the seat... fiberglass.

 

JL Audio makes a box that replaces the center seat with a 10 inch.
