99 5.3 Vortec Stumble

I have a 99 5.3 vortec that starts very well any time. The problem I have is when I start it and head out imediatly it stumbles and fall on its face for several seconds I have replaced the pump and filter. Still does it. I have run it with a fuel pressure guage visible. Runs good pressure and does not fluctuate when problem is present. If I let it idle for a minute or so before taking off, no problem. Problem occures hot or cold. I have heard tail of some problems with internal cracks in the plastic fuel rails. does not throw any codes Wher shoul I be looking next?
