New Shocks

Hey there, I am new to the forum and my reason for joining was to see what y'all recommended for new shocks. I have a 1999 GMC Sierra 1500 ext. cab 4x4 with a 6 inch suspension lift by fabtech. I am currently running 33x 12.50's and the ride is REALLY rough. I have asked a few shops and they didnt give me much info. A friend told me I need to look at the Bilstien zinc series but idk, thats why i joined here so what do yall think or recommend? Thanks

Bilstien zinc series .. I had those on my 2001 4x4 . great shocks.

Thanks, does your truck have a lift on it? Im assuming regular shocks wont work as mine is lifted 6 inches

It had a rancho lift on it 4 incher..

I have 6" BDS lift with the edelbrock shocks. They are much better than stock ones. call up Justin at All-Terrain Fabrication (http://www.allterrainfabrication.net) out of Plano, Texas. I ordered my BDS kit through him, and service was second to none and he will give you the best price possible on whatever he can get you. He also installs the kits he sells and can tell you from personal experience which shocks would work well for what you want.

i have a 6 inch pro comp lift. i got Bilstein 5100 and have been very happy with them. they make shocks specifically designed for trucks with lifts.
