Gmpp Exhaust Systems

I've been contemplating purchasing one of the GMPP exhaust systems for my '05 GMC. Anyone have advice concerning the install as I see the factory installed some sort of metal strip across the stock muffler and I'm unfamiliar with this. I believe the Touring system can use the stock hangers but the Performance system would have to bolt on to the frame somehow for teh drivers side exhaust. Any help is apppreciated.

why does it show 2 inlets?

I believe the part number is either 17801964(Touring single exit) or 17802149(Performance dual exhaust).

im looking at the perf dual. but we have different p/n's mine is ex cab 6'6" bed

I have the 5' 8" bed on my Crew Cab.
