4wd Selector Knob Hot?

Hey guys.

 

I have a 2007 Sierra SLT (nbs) and it has the 'deluxe' dashboard (or whatever its called) with the woograin, etc. Anyway, the 4WD knob and the Headlight knob are on the LEFT of the steering wheel. The 4WD knob is warm, almost hot to the touch, where the Headlight knob isnt. Is this normal or common? Is it due to the light bulb inside the knob that provides the back lighting? It seems a bit odd....

 

Anyone else find this?

well i dont have a GMT900, but the light dimmer switch area on my truck gets BURNING hot... im not sure why this is
