Im for going over there and taking him down. I know a lot of this BS is money (oil driven) but Saddam is a legit threat to the world.

 

What amazes me is, the US has bailed out several countries in the past from being over run by other countries. IE France, Kuwait, etc etc. But yet the only country that stands behind us in England.

 

Its like the French have forgotten if it wasn't for several thousdand American men dying on their soil, to keep Hitler's armies outta their, they would have really short hair and be ruled by a manical regime.

 

I agree the UN needs to get off its ass and help. Why does America have to do all the dirty and hard work? How come the UN send in their troops? The US sacrifices more than enough to help keep the world from destroying itself, not just in military might, but also humanitarian. #### we have people in this country starving and dying the street and no one helps US.

 

We supply more food, troops, and arms than any other country. I think its time the international community steps up and helps take a load off, and quit waiting on a couple of countries to save everyone else.

I think we need to be real careful now.  Good grief!  We have been telling him we are comming for 6 months now!!!!

 

I think we should go in there as stomp a mudhole in him.  We should have done it in Desert Storm!

 

We need to remain vigilant regarding Al Queida (sp?) though.

 

I think it would send a message that we will slaughter all who threaten the US.  But we would have to do it in the style of Desert Storm.  There can be no doubt to anyone which coutry is the victor.

Hey that's nice to hear a Cnandian say that!  Seems like many Canadians have the attitude that since 9-11 happened to us the war on terrorists is an American problem only.  Nice to hear some Canadians do support us.

I have been thinking about this issue quite a bit, and I have to say my opinion has changed.  I think we should take him out while we can.  We should have done that with Osama, but we choose to wait till he became a threat, and look what happened.  We need to take Saddam out of power before he does something to us.

I really believe we should wait.  I don't want Bush being a cowboy and going in alone.  Thats the $hitty thing abuot world politics, you really need support from countries that count.  I'm all for ousting saddam, but nows not quite the time.  I may sound really liberal here but I do think Bush has fabricated the "nuclear" abilities of Saddam.  I doubt he has any.  I honestly don't think the American public knows exactly what its going to take that @sshole down.  Many thousand lives will be lost through biological attacks.  I don't think people realize what we would be getting ourselves into going in alone.   [end rant]

Well, we should just stop fooling around and go check exactly what weapons Iraq has.  If they choose to resist (in the slightest way) then they know the consequences.  Just give the LAST ultimatum.

Have you seen the arial photos of Saddam's nuclear plant before and after the Gulf War? Now the most recent photos show that it is being rebuilt. But no, they don't have any nukes, they are converting it into a baby food factory. Sure. What are we supposed to do? Wait till he fires one of those things off and then go get him? The best defense is a good offense.
