Two different problems with two different answers. right on, somebody with a real reply. i was stupid in explaining whats goin, i should have said i already took the linkage off at the tranny. it goes into park. i pulled the tumbler out, took everything all apart. i think its the cable is reaaaaaaaally retarded-ly stiff. but i cant get the stupid thing out, god i hate workin on fords. i found some parts blow-ups but no real explanation on how to get that whole cable assembly out...
