Another 4l60e Problem, Help Please!

So I`m new to the site, so i figured I would turn to you guys for some help, I have a 2000 silverado 5.3 4x4 4l60e, bought it 10 months ago needed a transmission, so i did that(replacement), and a million other things, one being a shifter cable as I feel it may be related to the issue, but here we are 9 months later, driving down the road, and bam, no third or fourth gear,didnt notice anything beforehand that seemed fishy. after second its slips like its in neutral, but with the odd brap of the throttle it will pull a little bit. so last night i plugged it into the snap on solus-pro scanner, and noticed when i put it in gear, the snap on scanner is reading that its in second when its in first, third when its in second and than stays in third when it actually tries for third. aNybody had anything similar happen? what could it be? i have a tci rebuild kit and b&m torque converter comin but id rather not get into the rebuild if its not needed? valve body???

Any help is appreciated cause this baby has to be fixed soon so i can drive it for a week or two before something else breaks, cause what would a couple months without something breaking on the hunk of junk be like, oh wait, it would be a miracle!

OH and one more thing, someone mentioned it may have something to do with the PRNDL switch???

Thanks but it didnt really tell me much, anyone know why a scanner would pick up the wrong gear ?

Might scan it for codes.NSS could be bad or out of adjustment.
