Factory Radio Music Options-need Some Advice

This has been killing me. Trying to find ways to get more music in my truck. I've obviously got cds, am, fm,XM , but who really uses that stuff now a days?

My truck is a 2010, am fm cd bluetooth usb, non bose, non nav, non 6 disc.

I have a usb thumb drive in it, but im the kind of person that gets sick of songs FAST, even if its a lot of them, and without being able to get the radio to read playlists that option gets tiring (and hard on the radio knob).

I have a aux port on the radio, but I am not too fond of using that. Too many problems with 3.5mm ports in the past (although I am ecstatic gm made this standard, just wish it was a replacable piece somewhere else than built into an expensive oem radio).

Bluetooth doesn't accept a2dp (unacceptable imo ).

Tried a motorola T505 I had laying around, lack of windshield antenna or something made that a poor option. Too much static in any station. Worked great in my old jeep, bad in the silverado.

I could be wrong, but I don't think a USB dongle would work. Think the radio only reads usb mass media with mp3 files.

I just want a way to hook my android phone to it for streaming internet radio, streaming podcasts/sermons mp3s, and the ability to play music as fast as I can download it without damaging the radio (aux port).

I tried hooking the phone up as a usb drive with a usb cablem and once every 200 trys I can get it to read, but it will only act as a thumb drive, wont stream through usb. Ugh. Im at my wits end with music in this thing. Anyone got any options from cheap to expensive without replacing the oem equipment (adding stuff is ok if its clean).

Any way to add an aux port that can be removed if it acts up like 3.5s do, that wont permenantly damage the radio?
