Looks nice. Milage seems high for the asking price IMO. I browse the auto trader locally and see 08 and 09 Tahoes going for 29-33K. My 08 2wd Stickered for about 41K (LT cloth 20" wheels 3rd row) It seems like right now they are holding their value well. Have you run the kbb.com and nadaguides.com pricing to see what they are worth?

Virtually the same as the Silverado's with more interior room. Same reliability, just usually a bigger price tag

kbb private party is showing 27k....and retail for dealer should be 30k....

GM full size SUV's hold their value even better than the pickups. Idk why but they have been and still are on fire. Going back to '07 you could grab an '04 Escalade with 40k on it for about 16-18k. They are going for more than that THREE YEARS LATER????? Forget about the GMT900's, they are through the roof unless they are high mileage.. I'm glad, but the problem is unless you have $30k sitting around to drop on a used one the programs for a new one are too tempting to justify buying used.

 

factor everything out, by the time you buy the used $30K Tahoe with the finance rate you get, payment is $XXX when a new one is $75 or $100 more a month and it's got all that value being the current model year how can you justify it?

 

If you can discipline yourself and hold onto a vehicle for 7-10yrs the best buy is a new one with 0% (money for free) financing. Good luck and happy hunting.
