I notice some silverado's have the vent (2"x10") in the steel part of the bumper. Is this on all 2010-11 trucks, or is it a tow package/HD cooling thing?

As far as I knows its in all the bumpers of the Silverado's 2008 and up. Its to help in engine cooling.

atually a lot of them don't (including the one in the header of this page) and I think it looks better. Mostly just curious.

I wasnt 100% sure about it. I know a lot of them do have the slot and I think its better looking also. Espically on a truck like yours with the color match bumper. Breaks it up.

All 2009 and up. 2007 and 2008 with the V Max package. My 08 does not have it.

My 07 SLT doesn't have it, I have the HD Towing pkg (not the Max Towing). I kinda wish it did, I like the look.
