Gas Smell After A Brief Sit

This may be related to the fuel evap problem below, but I don't know.

Anyway, 2000 Suburban, after a running, and a shutdown, there is a relatively decent fuel smell in and around the truck. There are no leaks, no codes, no problems, no CELs.

Is this the same as the below topic or am I dealing with something else?

After a tedious inspection, I found the fuel pressure regulator to be bad.

$50 and the smell went away, and the rough idle smoothed out, runs like a dream now.

Stealership want 180 for the part, and almost another hundred to install. It took me 13 minutes, to do entire process including getting 3 tools, and a couple rags.
