JonesNTN Posted October 3, 2002 Posted October 3, 2002 What is the proper name for the manual or book that dealerships and auto repair shops use to gauge the difficulty and lenght of time required to make a repair?
carguru Posted October 3, 2002 Posted October 3, 2002 Believe what you are looking for is the Labor Guide and Parts Manual
mcali17 Posted October 3, 2002 Posted October 3, 2002 Chilton is a popular one. Also a lot of private shops now use the All-Data software which has labor and parts information not to mention all the technical info and wire schematics.
