School Bus Electrical Problem

I have an 87 GMC/Bluebird bus with standard ignition. Recently the coil's ignition wire from the fuse box burnt, taking out the terminal in the fuse box with it. Question: can anyone tell me where the input to the fuse box "IGN" comes from? I'd like to just wire the coil input directly to the source as my new wiring has its own inline fuse. I do know that the source is hot in both Key On as well as Start...I just haven't been able to trace it.

Thanks!

From the ignition switch and is this bus fuel injected? If not find a 12 volts in the fuse box that is hot key on and no power key off and wire it to a toggle switch.

Thanks for the response. It's a carbureted 350, standard electronic ignition. I'm needing a source that's hot both in Start as well as Key On as the distributor coil needs 12v in both key postions. There's no other fuse or location in that fuse block that provides 12v in both positions. I would wire toggles in it if I was the only one driving this beast. There's four others that drive it, so I've gotta get the key working as designed...
