Questions About A 99

Hi Im looking into getting a 99 gmc sierra. Im wondering what kind of lift I would need to clear 33in tires? Would a 3in BL work or should I go with some kind of suspension? Also I know it has 16in rims now. I was wondering would 15in fit. And how far would a 10in wide rim stick out?

And does anyone one have pics of amy of this stuff?

3" body lift will fit 33" tires pretty well. You could get away with just cranking the torsion bars some to achieve 2" of lift out of the front to clear the 33" tires. But if you go that route, you'll want an alignment. As far as running 15" wheels, I don't think they'll fit due to the caliper size. If you go with a 4.5" of backspacing on a 10" wide wheel, they'll stick out from the fenders about 2" inches.

If you have rear disc brakes 15 inch rims wont fit the rear, i tried it, ive seen some people grind the caliper down some but i wouldnt try it. 285/75/16 are the same as 33"
