Electric Window Problems

Ok here goes, about 2 months ago drivers side window got where it was very slow to raise, and lower so I thought that the motor was going bad. Before I could find one sometimes the window would not go down and then after I got it down it might not go back up, sometimes slamming the door a time or two and it would work. Got a junk yard window motor and installed it left the window out of the lift to make sure that it would work, up and down 5 or 10 times with out a problem, if you have every had one apart you know that if you raise it a little it is easier to reinstall window into the holder so I raised it and tightened up the window but it would not move from their!!!! My smarts kicked in at this time and I thought well it must be the switch has gone bad now, so I replaced it, guess what with out the window in the holder up and down just like brand new, so I set out to place window back on track and it would not move now. I can use test light and raise and lower passanger window without any problems but the drivers side will not move. I need to know which wire is the power to drivers side and which is the ground, I feel that one or the other is now my problem? Any helpers???? :(
