New Guy Looking At A 07 1500

Well my name is Kyle and I have been wanting a truck for a while now. I am currently driving a honda civic for my dd and I just want a truck now that I bought a house and I want to be able to pull my 06 gto to the track with it.

So I went to a local dealership here Fuller chevy in rincon,ga and they have a 07 1500 z71 package 2wd with 61,000 miles they were asking 21,700 for it but no one pays sticker lol. So I got them down to 19,500, and they are fixing a few things I found wrong with it. I looked up the blue book value and its says around 21. Sound like a good deal? Oh yea and it's dark blue.

I paid around there for my 07 without the z-71 package. Sounds like you did alright. Congrats on the truck. You will love it!

Trucks must be alittle more spendy down south, in MN i bought a 08 sierra sle2 z71 4x4 w/ line-x bed liner, 20 in chrome rims, every option except leather and nav, 28,xxx miles for 23,700..

and you paid like 7 percent in taxes... I think that is why MN trucks are cheaper than SD trucks... Just a thought.

Since you bought a truck to tow your car, what gears did you end up with. They'll play a key roll in how well the truck performs while towing since you have the 4-speed. Hopefully at least 3.73's.

I paid $19,000 for my 07 Sierra SLE crew with 20" inch wheels 2wd. Got it last summer. Sold my Harley to get it. No regrets!!!

Na it has 3.42's when I do pull the goat it will only be a few hour trip. The car weighs 3800 so it shouldnt Be to much of a struggle.
