Front End Buck With Rc 2''

I just put a 2'' Rough Country leveling kit in my 2009 Ext Cab Silverado. I have less then 100 miles with it on.

I have noticed that when I'm in parking lots making tight turns, the front end will buck a little. If you turn tightly for 180 degrees or so, it will buck at least a couple times. There isn't any noise associated with the movement....yet, but there is a noticeable movement of the truck....its just kind of rocks side-to-side. I have noticed that before with a different truck I had, but not with the Silverado that I can remember...until I put the kit on. I thought my old truck did it because there were no hubs on the front axle to disengage for the 4WD...same with this truck Anyone experience this?

I was thinking that it could be the CV shafts binding up, but I've read in the forums before, that the RC 2'' kit shouldn't lift it enough to make the angle on the shafts too severe to cause that prob....any thoughts?

BTW. With the exception of noticing this, I am really happy with the look of the truck after installation.

Thanks for the replies.

I have to admit, I feel a little stupid for this. I didn't have the alignment done until today. (I put about 100 mile on the truck without it being aligned after putting the kit on. Couldn't get it done until today.)

And guess what? Doesn't rock back and forth anymore. I can't believe the Toe caused that much of a problem...I guess the Toe was almost a 1/2 degree off :) . Good call Matt! Now I'm relieved and not going to worry about it...

Loving the look, and have no complaints! A small lift in the rear with blocks is next!
