Power Window Help

I have a window issue and I can not find the problem. I can put down all 4 of my windows from the drivers seat. I can only raise the driverside windows my seat. So I can not raise either window on the passenger side from the drivers seat. Anyone heard of this? It drives me crazy!!!!

Hello,

 

You can try cleaning the contacts on your master switch, however the cicuit boards on those often become faulty and the only option is replacement. So long as all other switches (passenger) are funtional, you can assume it's your master (drivers) window switch that's the culprit.

thanks for the reply's guys. i am going to work on it tonight and see if cleaning will work. if not i will be chasing a circuit board.

When I got my truck, an 07, I could move the mirrors in but could not move them out. It was the switch also. I got the dealer to take car of it as part of the deal.

 

I wish I would have noticed, but I can lock the doors from the drivers side but cannot unlock the doors from the drivers side. I expect someone must have left the window down or something at some point.

This happened to mine as well, about a year ago... I replaced the switch, then had to have it reprogrammed at the dealer...
