Hf Tools 92699 Fuel Pressure Tester

Hello.

 

I purchased a Harbor freight No. 92699 fuel pump tester to test my 2001 5.3L suburban.

 

It contains a test hose with a schraeder fitting on it, but it seems to be just a shade too small to fit on the plastic test fitting.

 

Others have apparently used this tool with success.

 

What gives? Is there an adapter made to make this workable for me? Anyone know the fitting size?

Nothing apparently wrong with the Harbor Freight Fuel Gauge, No. 92699, FYI.

 

I was trying to connect it to the EVAP fitting.........that's a different size fitting. Oops.

 

I take back anything bad I had to say about that gauge. It hooked up to my 01 suburban fuel rail just fine.
