Hypertech Tune For 6.2l

I have a 2010 Sierra with 6.2L, 3:73's Max towing, K&N cold air intake. I recently purchased the Hypertech 32004 Max Energy. Does anyone else have this programmer and if so did they change shift points ect. I installed the 91 oct tune but did not change anything else as I was nervous to do so. Im looking for throttle response when passing and I also tow a 7000lb camper. Im new to the forum and now Im questioning my purchase as everyone seems to favor the BB tune. Was considering a throttle body spacer until I read on here they are a waste.

Say NO to the throttle body spacer. The truck will reject it.. I plan on a BB tune in the spring. But with that said, the 6.2L and 3.73's is already impressive in my book. With the low gears combined with the 6-speed, you can hardly notice any throttle delay.

Can't help you with the settings but yes,.. BB tune is that good. You should have felt some difference with the "canned" tune it came with. If not, return the thing. I had a Diablo Sport on my last truck and was very impressed with the "out of the box tune". Once dialed in, it ran even stronger. And with a little help from a fellow diablo tuner, It ran even better.

With that said, the BB tune I got for it blew the diablo out of the water.

Thanks for the info Steven11. Nice truck.......I wasnt able to really test it today as we got some winter weather over night and roads were slick....Not a good time to play! LOL......Im really kicking myself for not reading more on the BB tunes. Oh well, hopefully someone can give some input on settings, but if not happy will definately return it.

Now if I can only find a set of OEM equivelant towing mirrors,,,,,,

Thanks....

And Ebay for the mirrors. There's lots of posts on them too with different options available. The search feature sometimes works well and sometimes not.
