Towing Mirrors

Looking to add a set of towing mirrors to my 2010 sierra crew cab. Has anybody used the Kool Vue CV41EL (L) means left. They seemed reasonably priced and claim to be a perfect OEM replaccement...

I helped a buddy put some Koolview mirrors on his 01 it was easy. The 2011 you need to pull part of the door panel to get to one of the nuts. If you're good you might be able to do it without pulling the panel - But - if you drop the nut in the door your S.O.L. Good luck on changing them.

I personally don't like the "non-factory" look of the kool vue's. What price are you looking at for them? because the OEM ones can be had brand new for about $380. Either way, I have heard quite a bit of positive feed back about the kool vue's

As stated above you will have to remove the door panel, even with manual mirrors (no wires to connect) it would be tricky, but if you have power mirrors you will have to remove the door panel.

I actually just snagged a set of slightly used take off's for $225 for my dad's truck.

EDIT: Whoops, after looking at them, I guess they are the same style wise. I thought they were more rounded.

Yah the Kool Vue's look very close to the OEM's, Best I found for Power and heated witout turn signals was 180 for the pair. Not that big a deal removing the door panel as I already had them off adding tint and Polk speakers. Thanks for the info
