2005 Sierra Check Engine Light, Not Sure What To Do

2005 GMC Sierra, 1500, 4wd, automatic, LongBed, 5.3. 70,250 miles.

4 days ago it was about -10F out and I started my truck, it ran perrfect. I let it warm up for 5-6 mins then drove it to work. After about 10 miles, the idle became very rough at a stoplight. Foot on the brake or in park, either way the idle was rough. Then about 3 miles later the check engine light came on. I had to drive it about 25 more miles with the light on, then I hit the local shop and borrowed the scan tool and the following codes came up.

PO300 - Random Multiple Misfire Detected

PO131 - o2 sensor circuit low voltage (Bank 1, sensor 1)

P1133, H02S1 Insufficient Switches (Bank 1, sensor 1)

P1153, H02S1 Insufficient Switches (Bank 2, sensor 1)

P0158, o2 sensor circuit high voltage (Bank 2, sensor 2)

P1134, H02S1 Transition Time Ratio (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

I have no idea where to start.

Is bank 1 the drivers (left) side and bank 2 the passenger (right) side?

Anybody have any ideas?

i think you have some problems ,are you doing the work?

I haven't done anything to the truck yet and I plan on fixing what ever the problem is if it isn't too serious. I have replaced plenty of 02 sensors and such, but right now I do not have a clue. If the problem is too severe or I cannot figure it out I will bring it to the dealer.

well ,you can risk it and replace a bunch of 02 sensors or get it diag'd ,your call bud,

if you don't know me...people that throw parts at their veh's makes me INSANE..that money pays for a diagnoses and leaves all liability with the shop/dealer,if it does not fix it ...

good luck bud

I called the local GM dealer, they said it will be 119 for a diagnosis. I am okay with that, as long as they will be able to tell me what is exactly wrong with it. What are the chances I go pay tyhe 120 and they don't figure it out?

as long as its running like shit (codes are currant )they will figure it out ,

they have seen this before ,trust me

P0300 engine misfires. If your check engine light blicks while driving this means that it is currently misfiring.

Diagnose your engine misfire first, check plugs, wires, etc.

A engine misfire can cause false O2 sensor codes, because a cylinder misfiring won't be burning the air/fuel charge, the job of the O2 sensor is to read this and make adjustments to the fuel trim.
