14 Bolt Swap

Hello, just trying to verify that a full floating 14 bolt from a 1995 Chevy 3500 4x4 will fit onto a 1987 4x4 chevy? I can't imagine why it wouldn't, but just wanted to check before spending too much $$.

Make sure and check the spring pad dimensions. If I remember correctly, they are different measurements pad to pad or pad to backing plate. The GMT400's used a wider frame which set the springs out wider.

Fairly certain you will have to move the spring perches. Any frame and axle shop can do this for little money.
