2011 2500hd Silverado/sierra/denali Option Question.

I may have found the truck I want but it does not have the back-up camera option from the factory that I so desperately want/need!

 

My question is: can this option/are these trucks built to have this added at the dealer level or do I need to keep looking?

I ordered a truck without the NAV Im going to put a brand name NAV in and add a stock camera to the tailgate handle

I ordered a cubbycam kit that replaced the rear view mirror, and the tailgate latch. Everything I got was exactly what you would get when you order it with your truck. The mirror still has the onstar buttons, and it auto dimming. I had the kit installed for $300 Everything came with the kit to have it installed, nothing else was needed. It is a great add-on to the truck.

I had a dealer install the oem backup camera on my 2010 Sierra. Go to gmaccessorieszone.com and find your vehicle. The part numbers and descriptions are on the website. The dealer install time is supposed to be 1.5 hours.

Just order the exact truck that you want. That's what I always do and then there's no wishing you had gotten something you didn't. It only took about 6 weeks for my 2010 Yukon XL 2500 to show up.
