2011 Gmc Sierra, Service Exhaust Fluid System..

alright, my name is lucas, new to this site... im a GM tech and im having problems with a 2011 GMC SIERRA DENALI, came in for def fluid light on. so i did the remove def fluid and reprogram, and i now have a Service Exhaust Fluid System light thats "latched" i have no codes anywhere and i went throught the reductant fluid quality test and the heater and leak test and the light is still on and i have no codes!!!! Help PLEASE.

You didn't get all the def out of the tank. Drain until all three level sensors are inactive. Most require the tank to be removed and drained that way.

yeah i did, all sensors said inactive, and was at 0%. i also did it twice to be sure.

Then the programming didn't go through right, or something. Call Techline.

 

The current info, and procedure, in S.I., works.
