Nice Trip To The Dealership.

Hi guys, just wanted to share with you all. Since I bought my Truck form a different Dealership after my old one was cut by GM I haven't taken it in for any warranty problems. Well yesterday I took her in and got the following fixed.

1-Drivers Side door lock failure-Fixed Common problem

2-Headliner below DVD and Sunroof rattling over bumps (This happened since day one but I thought it was just cause it was due to the truck ride until I rode in my buddys Sierra and it was quiet. -Fixed they added some padding in between the liner and roof.

3-Chrome on Power outlet chipping-Replaced

All done within 3 hours I was so impressed. With the last few GM cars Ive owned any warranty work was like pulling teeth and I dislike altercations. God it feels good when you go in and they actually fix the problems instead of saying its normal. This new Dealership is worth it. Just thought I'd share.

Hmmm, 1st build a quality product then back it with solid customer service. What an interesting concept. GM might be on to something....

Glad to hear everything worked out for you. I love reading stories about good customer service. The ones on here are usually about poor experiences with dealerships.

I imagine this is why GM dropped your previous dealer.

Yeah they used to have 2 dealerships in my city, but they cut the good one, now I'm stuck with a brain-dead parts department, and an uncooperative service department I can't even put into words how ignorant this place is.

One time a guy there in the parts told me, "this is a chevy dealer, we don't know GMC"

What a buffoon, way to gaurentee me to never ever spend money there.

the local dealers here have finally learned. years ago a lot of people would drive 3 hours to the nearest "Bigger" city to buy. No my dealer will deal in line with the volume dealers, and give you the service to back it up. Heck, I got a "preferred customer" card that gives me 5% credit for each parts/service visit that I can use at the dealership later. Doesn't sound like much but on my tire order today I got $50. that'll cover 2 oil changes!!
