Really Loud When Window Is Down

i bought a set of AVS vents and when im crusing down the highway and crack the window a bit sounds like i am in a tornado, anyone eles have this problem???

no no its a hell of a lot louder w/ the vents, i thought it would be quieter

yeah wind noise went up a little for me. youve changed the aerodynamics of the truck and now have these two plastic pieces sticking out instead of the wind just going down the sides of the truck. youve added some turbulence.

I noticed this after I installed my EGR visors too. I found that if my windows are opened less than about 4" from the bottom of the vent visor, the noise is worst. If my windows are opened more than 4" or if I just crack the window, the noise is a lot less.

i have the AVS on my 01... theres a little noise, not enough to bother me though
