Hello, does anybody know if there is a fuse for the lights that are behind the steering wheel buttons. Two of mine just went out at the same time. This is an 07 classic silverado. :)

nope, they are linked....seek up/seek down, voice/preset, vol up/vol down, source up/source down. gotta get them replaced. there was a guy that did a great job switching them over to LEDs...cant remember his EBAY listing anymore.

I found a how-to on that one time on another forum. I will have to see if I can find it again. All but a couple of mine are out. Ide like to know how much they cost ro replace, and how do you get them out?

Thanks for the ebay link. Good question about how to get them out.

one of two ways:

1) use a flatbladed screwdriver (with a towel or clean shop rag) and gently pry the button out from the front. it will give (it snaps in) but you will have to disconnect the wires and there is not a lot of slack in the wires.

2) Click my sig link and look under steering wheel swap

Thanks for the Ebay link. My buttons are in rout back to me. I should receive them tomorrow or late today. They were relatively easy to remove, but you're right there is no slack at all in the wiring, and the lower buttons have less. Is there a trick to plugging the buttons back in? I can't see how you could plug them in without pushing the button half way into the hole.

Another question?: Are the bulbs replaceable on the 4wd buttons, or do I have to send it off as well?
