When I go to fill up the gas pump shuts off within 5 cents, keeps doing it, truck has around 1/4 fuel in tank, I have a penske 16 foot Sierra box truck 6.0 engine. It seems as if there is a pressure build up. My driver said the goose neck has 2 screws missing at filler tube, he had them replace but another one viberated out. any sugesstions

Check the hose from the filler door to the tank to ensure no kinks.

pump slower (don't squeeze handle all the way/ pull the nozzle back an inch or two

 

sounds like the pump is moving faster than the filler neck can handle. those missing screws... did they fall down the filler neck? the may be caught and blocking it some.
