Help! Electrical problem after + Escalade cluster!

Hello all,

Tonight I took my new escalade cluster down to a company called techni-car and had them do the milage and engine hour transfer from the factory cluster to the new escalade cluster. The install went quiet well, and I put hte dash back together. I then began to head out for the night, and the dash was lit up properly and what not. I then put the truck in reverse. When I put it in reverse.. all the illumination went out. Meaning the numbers on the gauges, the needles, and all of the behind the panel illumination like of the AC controols and what not. I  have checked all most all of the fuses in the underhood electrical block and the fuse panel by the driver door, and none seem to be bad. Do you guys have ANY idea why it's doing this and how to correct it? Because right now it's extremely hard to see when i am driving at night!

Thanks In advance!!

Double check the fuses. I did the same thing once and it was just a fuse under the hood. Check them all really close because I didn't catch it the first time I looked.

Same thing happened to my ride, including the steering wheel control backlighting.  I checked all the fuses in the manual labeled with "instrument cluster," but they were all good.  Took it to the dealer, they found a fuse blown in the "Body Control Module" circuit.  Supposedly in the side dash fuse panel.  This seemed to have fixed the problem.  This was with stock cluster, not Escalade.

There's no rhyme or reason to some of the fuses. They're hard to find too. I've had cases where I've had to actually pull out each fuse til I found the broken one. Now that's a hassle.
