of a '10 extended cab. The rear of the seats are flush against the rear of the cab. Is there a trick I'm missing?

Don't know about the 2010's, but on the GMT-800's, you had to pull the 5 bolts where the entire seat was bolted to the floor, the lift it straight up, as it the top part of the seat is held in by tabs that require the seat to go straight up in order to release from the back wall.

Looking behind, those tabs are still there. Kinda puts a damper on my plan to install my cheap $35 universal seat cover from Cabela's. It's supposed to be easily removable once covered in dog hair. Geez ...

I remember seeing a post at one time on the SS forum about cutting the tab shorter so you could lift the bottom of the seat up and then you could pull the seat backs forward and it would be away from the wall.
