Brake Lght On When Headlights Are On

Just recently I noticed that when my headlights are on, my brake lights stay on (3rd brake light, tail lights, and my LED strip). When the lights are off, the brake lights are off. I also noticed that when the headlights are on, the left blinker gets stuck on while the right works. With the headlights off, the blinkers function normally. I checked all the bulbs and fuses and they look good. I've done some searching and hear a few things regarding trailer wiring??? Can anyone shed some light to this and how to troubleshoot the issue?

I have found whenever you have strange electrical things going on, it is usually a grounding issue. Start there first. Did you add any aftermarket item? In which case I'd look there even before the grounding.

Thanks for the tip. I removed the negative cable from the battery and hooked up a test light and started to pull the fuses ones by one. Led me to the trailer wiring. I have a light bar wired to the trailer harness and it seemed that the control box is toast. I removed the light bar and brake lights are working fine. This is my 2nd light bar from Pacer and they SUCK in terms of quality. It's definitely a NICE looking mod but don't feel like dumping 75 bucks for a light bar if it's going to crap out in 9 mths.
