I have a 99% brand new in the wrappers Volant CAI im trying to sell. I was recently in a wreck and the insurance company replaced my old unit with a new one because of the chip that was taken out of the lower box (see pics). They only replaced the box and gave me all of the other new parts. I dont need them so I figured I would try to recover some of my deductable. It is a very easy fix or just leave it alone, I dont think it would make any difference either way. What you are getting is all brand new, never used except the lower box. The price is 225 shipped anywhere in the USA (except Alaska and P/R). The unit is from a 2008 Silverado 6.0L V8. It will fit many other Chevy and GMC vehicles. The part number from Volant is 15253. Okay, final price of $190.00 shipped. I got a couple questions about the placement of the damaged area. It is on the side of the box that goes into the fender. It is not visable when the unit is installed. Here is another picture of the unit. Hope this helps. I need it gone. PM me
