Hard To Find Information

hello,

 

I have a 2000 GMC Jimmy 4x4 4 door SLE...

 

The front end sags lower by about 3 inches. I always have a 200 pound "grill guard" on the front and often in the winter. I would like to put "stronger" torsion bars in the front with bars that have a higher sring rate. I know there are about 5 different sets of bars available. Where can I find detailed information about these parts and possibly others online? The part numbers and diameters of the bars are as follows.

Probably only through a dealer parts book. You need the vin to know what is on your truck.

I dont want a replacement. I want an upgrade. Something with a slightly higher rate to make up for the extra weight of a plow and in the sunny season a 200 pound "grill guard".

What diameter are your current bars? Measure them then pick a bigger one?

The parts guy can tell you whats on your truck, then you can pick out a bar with a higher rating. Or do what ChevyTech 77 says. You just might not be able to do it on the web.
