Alignment After Suspension Lift

Will the local chevy dealer align a lifted truck ? And has anybody had any alignment issues with a 6 inch BDS lift with 33x12.50R20 tires ?

We do them, but it will vary from dealer to dealer. I will say this, I have rarely had one with any kind of lift that I was able to get enough camber out of. Does your kit have Ecentrics on the lower A-arms? Or just relying on the factory uppers?

Not sure on the Ecentrics on the lower A-arms or the factory uppers. The owner of the 4x4 shop stated that the vehicle should be aligned with the orginal spec's. I keep hearing on other forums that guys have had difficulties aligning there trucks. Some guys even recommended going to a tractor trailer shop because they have the quipment to align with the bigger tires. Like I said, I hope It can be done at the local dealer or my mechanic's shop. Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the warm welcome lol I fixed it and added my location. Yes, I dispise seeing any non-factory vehicle come in, but our writers will take in anything (and I really mean anything) and we are the only place in town that can align anything with 20''+ wheels...yuck

Nothing to worry about doing an alignment on these. Yes, the tech doing it may have a bit of trouble getting it to exact factory preferred specs after the lift but I've never had a problem with either doing them, or getting the alignment "dialed", for driveability or tire wear, on them after they were lifted. Done a bunch of them.

One thing though, the shop doing it will have to have a set of alignment heads that will "see" each other around

the larger tires. I could never get mine at the time to read past a set of tires that were any larger than 33's.

Thanks for the response, i just want to make sure that my local dealer or shop can get it done. The tires I purchased were expensive and the last thing I need is to have them wear out because of a bad alignment.
