Hi Ratio Rockers

Hi - a frequent lurker here. Mostly into bikes, but sometimes the truck needs attention too.

I've got a 97 Z71 w/350 and automatic. I've got some tall tires and would like to regain some of the lost power - I was thinking of some high ratio rockers. They don't give a lot of extra lift, but I would think enough to get some lost torque back. Anyone tried these? If so, any noticeable gain? Can the throttle body adjust OK? Any issues? I'm also running a K&N, Flowmasters, Hypertech reprogrammer and a t/body spacer.

Thanx for the help.

I had a 96 Silverado with the 5.7 and similiar mods. My next mod was going to be roller rockers. I would look into the Crower roller rockers I believe they were good for about 25hp and about the same in torque. A gear swap will help with low end performace as well. I would also recommend a custom tune vs the Hypertech. I have used them in the past but will be switching to a custom tuned pcm.
