Colormatched Front Bumper On Silvy Hd

I finally got around to painting the front bumper on my Silvy. I really missed the LTZ front bumper I had on my '07 1500.

 

I really like it. I also got a new locking tailgate latch and shot that, too.

 

I am considering doing the same to the chrome sections on the rear.

The painted front bumper looks fantastic! Your truck looks so clean and smooth.

 

I would leave the rear chrome, it goes well with the wheels and step bars. Black/chrome, black/chrome.

Yeah, I think the paint on the back might be too much. I had etch primer and paint mixed, ready to shoot, and decided against it

I've always liked the front bumpers of the Silvy's painted.. and yours is no exception. Well done! And as mentioned above, I'd leave the back bumper the way it is.

Truck looks great, I love color matched parts on a truck. I'm not a chrome fan but has it's place.

Question was the bumper chrome to start and if it was what did you do to paint it.
