say no to cats?

I've been thinking about just taking off the cat only, since there is nothing wrong with the exhaust. I have single into dual galss pack, around 2.5 or 2.75 inch pipes. I know I'll gain HP and torque, but will I lose any in the low end?

You might want to check to see about O2 censor.  If you have on then you will need a "cat box" or something like that that tricks your computer into thinking that everything is ok with your cat.  If you don't use one of these things you will pop engine codes.

Just a thought!

Not on a '90 you won't.  Those are OBDI, which means only one set of O2 sensors that are pre-cat for A/F mixture.  You can remove the cat without any problems.   :jester:

#### that bitch will scream with no cats and glasspacks...I doubt you lose any low-end torque....I like the idea it will open up a lot faster....I like it

Go with the 2.5" pipes if you want her to be loud...3" will give you a more mellow tone instead of in your face American V8 Thunder...
