2007 Yukon Denali 6.2l Engine Knock After Start-up

i have a 2007 Yukon Denali XL 6.2LV8 AWD. Engine has knocking noise for 5 minutes after start-up in mid-temp, cold. The motor has 146,000km. The sound is like a durmax diesel, any suggestions??

Try doing a decarbon. Use BG44k, get it from e-bay. Do two cans, one to a tank full. Run each tank to near empty. I'll bet this helps.

Not the same at all. Use BG. Google it and see.

Its the lifters that are makin the noise!! They have updated the design to solve this issue!! My 6.0 avalanche does the same thing
