Cold Air Intake

im lookin to buy a cold air intake for my 2007 chevy silverado 4.8 and im looking at K&N 57 series FIPK and Bully Dog. dont kno which one to get any suggestions?? personal experiences?? thanks in advance

i have used K&N FIPK on my last two sierras, an 04 with the 5.3, and an 08 with the 4.8. the older 5.3 i didnt notice as much performance gain, as this truck wasnt hardly as restriced as the 08.

 

now on the 08 sierra i noticed a bit more acceleration from 3000- red line. fuel mileage didnt improve on either trucks. probably my driving habits. i definately noticed better throttle response from my 08, 4.8 but its still delayed due to the fly by wire setup.

 

i have never used bully dog products, but they are a reputable company. the fit and finish with the K&N is outstanding. im planning on adding another FIPK to my 2011 sierra. good luck
