Neither!  Here our choices SU*K!

Although I will admit I heard a commercial last night for Lisa Madigan (democrat whose father and the Madiagan machine bought her way into this election) who is running for attorney general that will guarantee I vote for Joe Birkett (her Republican counterpart).

It was on the radio last night where a bunch of yenta's are sitting around discussing why they will not vote for Birkett.  One reason is his gun control platform..."Or lack thereof" as a one of them quotes.  Then "He supports removing legislation that is in place on assault rifles"  "Oh that's not good!" others respond.

That guaranteed I'll most likely be voting for Burkett.  I don't need anymore legislation placed on me, a responsible citizen in regards to gun ownership.

Of course she made sure to hit the abortion key too.

The good part of being a Democrat is that you can commit crimes, sell out your base, bomb foreigners, and rape women, and the Democratic faithful will still think you're the greatest.  I am A Republican and proud of it! :)

I'll vote mostly Republican, though there are a few Democrats in the local elections that I'll vote for, country board, etc.

They are calling for the Democrats to take over the state government.  The part that really bothers me is that of the top five, they all live within ten miles of each other in Chicago!!  Yeah, we're really going to be taken care of here in "downstate" Illinois (God I hate that phrase).  Republican all the way for me there.

I am a Republican and that is how I will vote.

Politically I am a right-conservative-authortarian (some liberal people call me a nationalist, facist, lil' Benito...whatever).  Politics are weird here in Nevada, but as with anywhere the Democrats are attempting to screw up the state more then it already is...at the rate they are going drugs will all be legal, the state will control all of the utilities (can you say socialism :)), we will have no weapons, etc...

I'm registered Indenpendent, because when I registered years ago I was pi$$ed about how people here acted.  They nearly all vote straight ticket.  They rarely have any idea about the issues, and they usually don't believe the way their party does, they just vote that way, because they always have and their parents did and down the line.

If I had to pick a party I would most definately register Republican, because I can't stand enviromental extremists, I hate gun control freaks, I am not for gay pride, and I support the military of the country 100%!!  :)

I nearly always vote for the Republican candidates, but as ,ong as I am in this area I will not afilliate myself with any one party, because of the narrow mindedness of the majority of the people here.  I say vote for the person who best represents your opinion on the issues, NOT the political party.

But no matter what make sure you vote.  If you don't vote, you have no right to b!tch.

On a personal note, I think George W. Bush rocks!!

I vote for the only party that truly supports freedom; The Libertarian party.

I'm so sick of the Republi-crat BS!     A Democrat is the liberal mix between a communist and a socialist, and a republican is a conservitave Democrat.    When did the government get in the business of healthcare and education?   I don't want to hear about what Candidate A will do for Health Care Benefits for Seniors, or what Candidate B wants to do with Social Security, or what Candidate C is going to do for Education.. ENOUGH!!!!   THAT"S NOT YOUR F'N JOB!   TELL ME WHAT YOU'RE REALLY GONNA DO?  Yup, thats right, sit back and make $100,000/yr for a job that cost you $4,000,000 in campaigning to get.

Its sickening :)

Ok, enough venting

:thumb: That's where my vote goes, there just aren't enough of them on the ticket (not that they'll get elected anyway, but at least they get to say "at least someone voted for us").  When there's no libertarian on the ticket, I'm far more likely to vote republican than democrat, although it depends on the specific candidates....if they're both no good, I just don't vote for that position...I can't bring myself to vote for the "lesser of two evils", because I figure that's still a vote for evil.

I vote the same way most of my friends vote (not following, just happens that way).  I usually start down the ticket and at the end, find out I voted straight Republican.

Especially our local democratic politicians seem to be bent on spending the gov't's money giving to the poor.  Well, around here, the poor drive Mercedes and Lexus' to the welfare office.

For the most part, Democrats seem to have the Robin Hood Syndrome (take from the rich, give to the poor).  Well, the rich ARE NOT GOING TO LOSE.  No matter how you look at it, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE FROM THE RICH!!!  What you end up doing is taxing the crap out of those of us that are trying to get a leg up, 2 income families that just want to pay off their house.

I couldn't have said it better myself Mark,,Taxing or penalizing buisnesses that make good money costs jobs and stuns growing companies....Thats what Dems want ,more people to rely on govenment assistance

You got that right Gun. :thumb:

I'm a registered Republican and I vote 100% Republican on the national ticket and about 75% for the local elections.  There are a few county and state seats that I don't mind voting for Democrats.

If any candidate is pro gun control and/or anti-military he loses my vote no matter what ticket he runs on!
