I just performed a tune up on my '98 k1500 4x4. cap&rotor, pcv valve, plugs, wires. Couple questions- I have noise coming from the area of the cap & rotor area only when I am accelerating, while cruising it goes away. not very loud but definatelty noticable with radio off. I made sure those parts were tightened down when replacing, What could it be? the new pcv valve is also very loud while idling, i heard a cracking sound when I took the old one out cuz it was really tight and had to twist to get it out. Didnt notice any damage to anything, could the new valve be faulty. The fuel filter is tight as hell and im thinkin the fuel line will break before it comes loose, as advice.
