Gmbackupcamera

I purchased a gm backup camera tailgate bezel from gmbackupcamera on ebay. The first camera was DOA. They did send another camera but that one died within a couple days. They agreed to send a third camera and stated that they mailed it out. It has been 3 weeks and no camera. They said just wait, that it will get there eventually. Very poor customer service and I wanted to let everyone here on this forum to stay away from gmbackupcamera on ebay. They will take your money and run.

I dont know what's going on with your deal but I bought one from them about 2 months ago and haven't had any issues with it. yet

I was surprised too that I would get 2 defective camera's from them. The problem I have with them is the fact they said they said they sent another camera but in reality they never did. They said it would get to me eventually. It has been 4 weeks and nothing. The camera that is in this bezel is a very cheap camera. I decided at that point to just keep the bezel they sent me and put a different camera in it. Now it's working great with no problems.

I decided at that point to just keep the bezel they sent me and put a different camera in it. Now it's working great with no problems.

I too think the camera is a cheapy, which camera did you change to and what did you have to do to change out?

I too think the camera is a cheapy, which camera did you change to and what did you have to do to change out?

I got a Pyle PLCM22IR from ebay. It's not the best camera out there but it is alot better than the camera that came with the tailgate bezel from gmbackupcamera. This camera was just slightly larger diameter so I had to expand the hole a little by dremelling it out.
