2007 Gm Sierra 1500 Sle No Crank

Hello,

I have a 07 Sierra SLE 1500 new body style. I can no longer get my truck to start up. Was driving the previous day and noticed the cruise kicked off a couple times mysteriously. Also when I turned the ignition to start it did not crank the first time. It did start the second time though. The next morning it would not start at all. It looks like i am getting power to the starter relay in the underhood fuse block when the key is cycled to "crank". The relay does not click though and I do not get any power to the starter J-case fuse. The relay is good and battery cables good. Fuel pressure is good. The underhood circuit board within the fuse box is also OK. When the key is in the on position my security light slowly flashes. It wasn't throwning up any codes (But my scanner doesn't access BCM or 4x4 modules etc) I will have to get it towed to the dealer but they are backed up till next month. Any ideas? Security relearn? BCM?

Double check your ground connections and bang on the relay box under the hood. Then again, don't do that. Better if the dealer can troubleshoot from the start if it's not starting at all, don't want to fix it now only to have them say "We could not duplicate the problem" I had phantom electrical issues with my 07 that the dealer could never chase down because every time I got it back to the dealership (even had it towed once, and they stuck me with the tow bill) it was working right again and no matter how long they kept it they could not get it to duplicate. Them putting you out to next month is just wrong. Is there another GM dealership close by? I'd at least insist upon a free rental truck if they can't take care of you right away.
