You can put it in, there is no question about that. The question you should be asking yourself is, 'Do I really want to choke out that motor with the TBI instake?'

If you want to put that motor in your truck, I would find an intake setup that would compliment the motor.

Something to think about, depending on the state/location that you reside in, there will/may be issues with smog emissions that you may have to deal with, that motor combo will not pass a smog test

No idea if stock will work, but, stock pre-injection is a single wire to install. If you have a tach, that too is a single wire that you should be able to find in the stock harness as it probably was connected to the original distributor.

You should be able to install a fuel pump, not sure if the original pickup in the tank will allow fuel to be pulled through the original pump though.

Oh awell i have the one out of truck and an after market hei so thats not a big deal, and im pretty sure id have to change the pickup and remove electric pump from the tank...wat if i got a bigger intake for the throttle3 body set up and a tbs and bigger injecters instead of carb intake and manual pump?

This is what I did to my brothers car. His car was originally a fuelie and he wanted a carb. We left the stock pump in the tank and then put a regulator and a return line to the tank. This way the carb got its 9psi and the rest went back to the tank. Also a regulator is cheaper than buying the whole sending unit.
