Area Between Bed Liner And Tailgate Protector

Recommended Posts

So I had to cut a bunch of re-bar for a job and then I hauled them in my truck. The metal shavings transferred to the clearcoat on the paint in that gap you see when the tailgate is down. I was thinking about putting spray beadliner between the bed liner and the tailgate protector on the floor and the bottom of the tailgate. Also, maybe on the verticle part of the box that you see above the bumper when the tailgate is closed. What do you think? Will it look funny?

I did this on the inside of mine (between liner and protector) and it looks and holds up very well. The piece that you see when the bumper is closed I did as well and it looks fine. However you can't really see that section because of my light bar. I say go for it.
