Key Lock Cylinder Won't Turn

I'm having a problem. My key lock cylinder wont turn to start my 02 Sierra. It also wont turn back to acc. I have three keys and not one of them will work. Has anyone else heard of this? I'm happy that it decided not to work in my driveway.

I would imagine this does not apply to you, but it reminds me of something that happened recently...

 

I was at my friends house, parked in his driveway, he has a 05 Sierra, in blue, I have a 2010 Sierra in blue. I needed something out of my truck, and my buddies wife said she would get it, just give her the keys. I handed her the keys, and went back to what we were doing. About 10 minutes later his wife came in, saying there was something wrong with my key fob, it just would not work, we both jokingly said, just use the key then. She laughed at the obvious, and went back out. She came back in a couple of minutes later, saying the key did not work either. This time I got up, as did my buddy, took the keys from her and went out the back door, I did not take but three steps towards my truck when she said, "oh shit, I am never going to live this down".

No the wheel isnt locked. Im pretty sure its just worn out, but to replace it I have to get it to turn.

I got it ! Thank God. I finally wiggled it so many time that it turned forward enough for me to press the retainer. Now ive just got to order another. WOOOOO HOOOOO!
