Need Some Help!

Hey guys. Need some help. I'm in the process of putting on my RC level kit. However I loosened the bolts on the sway bar too much and they came off. Now I can't get the sway bar bolted back on. Any help? Any ideas? I've been messing with the thing for the past hour and a half and I'm at a loss.

Ok...I've got the sway bar back on and it's loose the way it's supposed to be when installing. Now my problem is I can't get the RC spacer under the shock. There isn't enough room. It's all I've got to get that thing seperated. Any ideas?

Did you loosen the upper ball joint? That will get you some extra room. Everytime I've done the spacers, I've just broken the upper ball joint and used the space to remove the entire strut assembly. I've never loosened the swaybar ends. You need an alignment anyway once the spacer is in.

Make sure you have BOTH front wheels off the ground, that way there is no tension on the sway bar

I used a jack stand under the strut and lowered the truck a few inches... had it on in 5 minutes :)

Use a pry bar and it will pop back in. This is how I do it without loosening anything. The only bolts I would mess with are the lower strut bolts.

Finally got it back on guys. Thanks for the help. I just needed an extra set of hands. I was tying to do it by myself. The extra hands helped. Oh yea...make sure to jack BOTH wheels off the ground. That helped A LOT.
