2007 Denali. Nav Screen Won't Close

I've been reading alot of this forum and there's a wealth of knowledge. This is my first time posting though. I searched this using several combinations of words but couldn't find any other note of this problem.

 

I received my 07 Denali without the nav disc. I went into settings and got the screen to open to insert the disc, the screen opened, I inserted what I thought was the correct disc, but it thought about it for about 10 minutes then spit it back out. It didn't close though, a message on the screen reads "can not load system software, incorrect disc" (paraphrasing). I got the correct disc from the dealer but that just sits and spins, the screen doesn't close. Is there a way to manually close the screen? I pressed all the buttons and the radio still works but I have to navigate stations blind. Any help would be greatly appreciated! The truck's out of warranty so I'd hate to have to take it to the dealer.

Welcome to the site. I think you'd be best to take it to the dealership and have them program it. I think your gonna have to bite the bullet on this one.

On mine it says "Close" on the LCD screen, you have to press that on the touch screen to close the screen.
